I would ask if this fan is compatible with the carrier board or help me find a better cooler for cm4? Thanks

It can sort of work, if you use the 5V and Ground pins on the 9 J1 (the 9 pin USB Header) I just put one on since it seems I was getting some thermal issues during testing. The blue PWM pin is not used, but the fan is pretty much silent even at full speed.
I am getting some 12V fans to replace the one on the heatsink, but I figured that part is good enough to start testing.
Hope this helps.
Thanks, also please check your email.
I have not tested this, but it is +12V and specifically for a CM4 module: https://smile.amazon.com/Dedicated-Cooling-Raspberry-Adjustable-Convenient/dp/B0B3F63DGD/ref=sr_1_3
I'll go ahead and order one for testing here.
Hello @Geo Wilson Lagran, that will not work. We supply +12V for fans and that fan is +5V. We don't have a recommendation for a CPU fan as we typically just use case fans, which have been sufficient. If you find one you like, feel free to post it here to share with others.
